young and stupid / by slanted-edges / billy, teddy, cassie, kate, jonas, eli, tommy / young avengers * * * Blah.  I don’t know, I finally read the first six chapters of Children’s Crusade (I’m a shameful fan, yes) and even though I basically spent the entire thing yelling about how much the writing and art sucked (sorry y’all, I’ve got major issues with Cheung) there were fleeting moments that made me really love these guys.  I feel like Heinberg is shit at plot and pacing, but his characterization is awesome. Also.  What’s funny about this is is is is you can totally compare it to 2 Young Avengers group drawings I did in 2009 (here and here).  Granted, their compositions are MASSIVELY different, but that’s how much my style’s changed.  Yuppers.
